About Me

"You know he's hitting on you, right?"

This was the first thing my husband ever said to me. Hah! It was a crisp December morning in Boston at Logan airport. Another guy was talking to me about apartment prices around the country and Jesus cut in after he left. We said our Goodbyes and met again when I walked up behind him at the security line. He was tying his shoes when I wished him a safe flight and headed to my gate. When he walked up behind me at the gate I was a little concerned "Are you on this flight???" He could tell I was suspicious so, he pulled out his ticket, the seat right in front of me. We even had the same cell phone you know, way before the iPhone/Android debate.
Okay FATE are you trying to tell me something??
Our flight to Charlotte came to an end and I did something I had never done before, I asked a guy for his number. We spent the next 2 years texting and talking. No commitments, just getting to know each other. Trying to match up our schedules between Atlanta and Los Angeles. Then one day, shortly after I moved back to New Hampshire he called me to say he was moving to New Hampshire for ME!?! FOR ME?!? I didn't believe it. I went out to dinner with a friend that night and told her I half expected him to not be at the airport when I showed up. I still remember her being more excited than I was. I guess I just couldn't believe this dream was now a reality.

On December 24th, 2012 we welcomed our beautiful Christmas Eve baby, Adalaide Irene. After being home with her for one month, we made the decision I would leave my job to be a stay at home mom. My new job became everything I love; learning, cooking, crafting, decorating, and teaching.

On February 11th, 2014 we welcomed our second baby girl, Evangeline Winter.

We recently started the newest chapter of our lives...relocating to North Carolina!
Follow along our multicultural family as we learn, explore, craft, cook and FOOTBALL
